ARRIVAL IN INDIA
It was in the year of grace, 587 A.H. or 1191 A.D. that Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chishty(R.A) entered India and proceeded to Delhi via Fort Shaadman, Multan, Lahore and Samana (a town of the old Patiala State). At Lahore, Khwaja Sahab stayed for 40 days at the shrine of Hazrat Data Ganj Baksh, a great saint who had come to India before Khwaja Saheb and enjoyed considerable respect and popularity in the Punjab.

Freedom from all Calamaties : Rasool Allah Sallallaho ‘Alaihi Wasallam said, “Nothing in the world will be able to harm the person who recites the following supplication three times every morning and night:
“Bismillaahil Ladhee Laa Yadurru Ma’as Mihee Shay-un Fil Ardi Walaa Fis Samaa-i Wahuwas Samee’ul ‘Aleem.”

Dua at Time of Distress Hazrat ‘Abdullah bin ‘Abbas Radiallaho Almighty ‘Anhuma reports that whenever Rasool Allah Sallallaho ‘Alaihi Wasallam was distressed or worried about anything, he would recite the following supplication:

“Laa Ilaaha Illal Laahul Haleemul Hakeemu Laa Ilaaha Illal Laahu Rabbul ‘Arshil ‘Adheemi Laa Ilaaha Illal Laahu Rabbus maawaati Wal Ardi Warabbul ‘Arshil Kareem.” more
